I’m Christine. I’m a mental health counselor living on the tiny sub-tropical island of Okinawa, Japan. I am originally from Southern California and have been living in Japan for 14+ years. I am passionate about travel and do it as frequently as possible. I also love to eat and I tend to judge a country by its food. Japan gets 2 thumbs up in that category! Adrenaline fueled adventure is one of my favorite things. I've jumped off the tallest bungee tower in the world, petted tigers, surfed in Bali, and gone swimming with sharks (whale sharks and reef sharks), among other things.
